comentario, la verdad es que si Nueva York es
una lugar muy especial Times Square es como
su corazón y merecía un homenaje de su
estilo.... un tanto fuera de lo real, como
dices tu, como una ilustración. Que bien que
te latió... ah y gracias por los tags!
Scratch: I'm glad you like it, I thought
the same about the ghosting, but as I usually
do my hdr's by bracketing then it is very
hard to avoid ghosting specially in such a
crowded place.
D50: Thank you for the comment, sometimes
when the place is such overdone by man like
this one it deserves an overdone treating....
it is the craziest place ever...so is the
picture.

Gracias Kile, a mi también me gusta así... De
hecho vagamos un poco pero casi siempre por
Mexico, tuvimos oportunidad de ir a NY hace
un par de semanas, pero no fui a Canadá (si
no pues te hubiera avisado) y si, Montreal se
me antoja mucho, ya tendré oportunidad de ir
algún día...

pero me gusta más aún que a ustedes les lata;
yo iba NY con la firme convicción de tomar
una foto de Times Square que valiera la pena

Efectivamente Times square es un lugar
increible! Tube la suerte de estar allí este
mismo año y le saqué mil fotos (tengo alguna
en mi stream si te interesa ;)

Mi estimado, pues el ghosting en este caso se
ve genial, le da un movimiento especial a la
escena. De verdad que te quedó genial...
No sé con qué programa haces HDR pero con
las últimas versiones de Photomatix puedes
emular el HDR con una sóla imagen Raw y no
quedan naaada mal; claro está que lo ideal es
el bracketeo, pero en estos casos funciona
muy bien para evitar el ghosting. Pruébalo,
no es tanta la diferencia.

indeed shows how crazy and busy that spot is,
doesn't it?
WakaMouL: Que chido que te latió, de hecho
estaba esperando tu visita. Efectivamente uso
Photomatrix, lo que pasa es que irnos a NY y
tomar 3500 fotos en Raw cada uno (Fabiola mi
esposa y yo) es todavía un lujo que nuestras
compact flash no nos permiten. Así que
hicimos bracketing de jpg's para los HDR's,
una selección de las tomas RAW en lo que nos
parecía que tenía más potencial y lo demás en
jpg's. para evitar acabarnos las memorias
demasiado rápido.
En lo que respecta a esta toma vi el
ghosting pero me pareció, como lo comentas tu
y algunas otras personas en la pagina, que le
daba vida a la toma y te transmite la
sensación del lugar tal y como es.... una de
las calles más llenas del mundo donde las
personas son como fantasmas, cada uno
viviendo su vida con toda la prisa del mundo.

I really love this shot. You have taken a
photo of a place that is photographed a dozen
times a week and you have put your own spin
on it. Very unique, great job, but were you
really standing there with a tripod that
close to the street? Better watch out, cause
in NY they would run ya over :) My vote is
YES, you need one more to post to the main
pool.

could hang it in my appartment and look
something different than everything I'used to
see at everyone's home...and I found
