Curiously, this, although it's a brand new station, doesn't have those swizzy "no suicides" extra doors on the platform, protecting the tracks.

Not sure how true it is but I heard that those track side doors were mainly there to help prevent through trains creating drafts that could feed a fire. Wonder if because T5 is at the end of the line and therefore doesn't have through trains this isn't such a risk, so they didn't bother?

Probably more likely to do with the fact that they would need to put additional kit on all the Piccadilly Line trains (which are all being replaced in 2014 anyway).
