hat we have here... yessir... is just me, doing what I love doing. I am not a professional, the amount I have been paid for my photos amounts to just enough to buy a few beers and a meal.

I shoot these days (in order of approximate frequency) with a Vivitar 250/SL 35mm SLR (loaded with color), a Vivitar 220/SL 35mm SLR (loaded with black and white), a Brownie Hawkeye Flash, a ca. 1947 Univeral Uniflex II TLR, a Polaroid Model 420 Land camera, a Holga, an Instamatic 500, , and all are rigged to work with flashbulbs.

"The honky tonks of Texas are my natural second home" -- I spend ALOT of time in the dive bars and honkytonks here in Austin, away from the thousands of shitty rock bands that come to Austin to play downtown and get lost in the mix. The experience is unique, and one I sometimes take for granted, which is why I document it here. Some of the truly most talented musicians pass through my haunts, and the most unique and interesting people, too.
