About Ale's What Cures Ya: The Elevation of Beer

Ale's What Cures Ya. Get yours at bighugelabs.com/flickr

This group is dedicated to original photography of finely-crafted ales and lagers, the people who brew them, and the places we enjoy them. Some ideas: Show us your favorite local brewpub or your recent beer road trip. Show us your latest "rare find" or your own homebrew. Tell us the name of the beer or place pictured (if it's not obvious from the photo). And maybe most important, what did you think of the beer or place pictured?

GUIDELINES (They're simple, really):

1. For our purposes, "finely-crafted ales and lagers" (craft brew) do not include mass-marketed brands. PLEASE DO NOT POST photos of beer manufactured or owned by Anheuser-Busch, SAB Miller, Molson-Coors, InBev (Interbrew), Heineken, Modelo Group, Diageo (Guinness), Scottish & Newcastle, etc. There are other Flickr groups for these photos.

2. This group is for people who enjoy AND respect beer. They know that beer, if brewed with love and consumed with care, enhances our meals and enriches our lives. So, please no photos of keg stands, beer bongs, barf-o-ramas, and the like. There are other Flickr groups for this as well.

3. This group is not for photos which contain commercial advertisement for your beer, pub, website, etc. And using someone else's photos to do this (through comments, tags or notes) is especially frowned upon. If you would like to tell us about something NON-COMMERCIAL you have created (like your personal website or blog), the discussion thread is a good place to do it.

These guidelines make this beer group more selective than other beer groups. That's the point.

Thanks for stopping by, my friend.
Cheers!
